This book’s full title is The Greek Revolution: 1821 and the Making of Modern Europe. I found this book quite fascinating. I do know much about Ancient Greek but not its more modern history and certainly not about them and the Ottoman Empire. I found it a gripping tale of the chaos of this Greek Revolution.
There is a very short review at Foreign Affairs by Andrew Moravcsik. . This times review starts off well at the Times Literary Supplement, but unfortunately, you cannot see the full review without signing up to this supplement. Project Muse has a very good review of this book. This site of Literary Hub has a number of short vivid reviews of this book .
